Weimar Elementary School Campus Procedures

7:30 - 7:50 am - Breakfast Served
7:55 am - Announcements
8:00 am - Tardy Bell
3:27 pm - Dismissal Bell

In order to ensure the safety of all children, the following arrival/dismissal procedures and expectations must be followed:

  • Visitors are not allowed in the building during arrival or dismissal times.
  • Do not drop off children before 7:30 am as there is no supervision before that time. Students must wait in the car with their parents until 7:30 am.
  • Breakfast is served from 7:30 -7:50 am daily. Students who arrive at school after 7:50 am will not be served breakfast at school.
  • If arriving late to school (after the 8:00 am tardy bell), parents must come with their children to the office and let the office know why their child is tardy.
  • Please use the west circle drive, designated for car riders, to drop off and pick up children, The west circle drive is designated as EXIT ONLY, and the entrance is the softball driveway, north of the softball stadium. If you need to park and bring your child into the school, please park in the west circle drive parking spaces. The east circle drive is designated for buses only, as well as staff parking.
  • Do not drive or park in the loading area by the gym to drop off your children. This creates unsafe traffic situations and endangers children.
  • Please note the crosswalkers and be extremely careful of students who are walking or riding their bikes to and from school.
  • Children will be release only to parents or designate guardians of the child. You must send a note or call the school office if your child will be going home with someone else, or a different mode of transportation than usual. Do not tell your child to tell the teacher. Notification must come from the parent by either a note or phone call. If calling, please be sure to phone before 2:45 pm to ensure your child receives their transportation change slip prior to dismissal.
  • All car riders, bus riders, and walkers will be released from their classroom during dismissal, beginning at 3:27 pm. Thank you for your patience.
  • Make sure your children "buckle up" in the car. Using seatbelts is the law!

Thank you for helping us have a fantastic year at Weimar Elementary School!
