Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!! – Mrs. Stephanie Wright – Colonel Johnston Elementary

All About Me

Weimar is my hometown.  I graduated from Weimar High in 2001. Then I attended the University of Houston and received my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  I have been teaching for 11 years and all of my 11 years have been at Weimar Elementary.

My husband, Geoff and I have two wonderful daughters. Our oldest daughter, Maya attends Weimar High School and our youngest daughter Cayla attends Weimar Junior High.  They both participate in the Weimar High School Band.

My family and I love living in the country. We have so many pets…..chickens, ducks, goats, sheep and one dog and one cat.

I am so excited to start another school year and can’t wait to see all of you.  We are going to grow and learn together.

Hi, I'm Ms. Hudgeons! I can't wait to spend second grade with you and look forward to providing a positive learning experience. I graduated from Texas State University in 2013 and began teaching in my hometown of Cuero. I taught first grade for seven years there, and I'm excited to be starting my eighth year here in Weimar!

This is an extra exciting year for me because I will be getting married in March! My amazing fiancé, Lee, is a volunteer firefighter in Schulenburg where we live. Together we have two dogs, Zuzu and Abbey, and a cat named Springer.

When I'm not teaching I love watching TV and spending time with my family. I also love traveling - I've been to 48 states (still need Alaska and Hawaii) and spent five weeks all over Europe in 2015. It was a truly amazing experience!

A few of my favorite things: pink, sweet tea, Minions, KitKat, sticky notes, colored pens, Target
