About The Directors

Henry Dreitner
Henry Dreitner was born in Weimar, TX before moving to Yoakum, TX where he graduated high school.  In high school, he was a member of the ATSSB All-State Band.  He graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Music Education with all level teaching certification.  He has also performed throughout Texas with many different bands as well as a few performances across the country.  He currently performs with The Rusty Steins German/Czech Band and with various groups throughout neighboring communities.  When not spending time on music, he enjoys golf, auto racing, and Houston Texans football.
Dylan Slaughter
Dylan Slaughter was born in Austin, TX and moved to Hutto, TX shortly after. While in Hutto he began his music career as a trumpet player and graduated high school. He attended Texas Tech University where he studied Music Education to teach all levels. While at Tech he participated in concert and small ensembles, was a member of the Goin Band, and studied trumpet under Will Strieder, and Richard Harris of the Houston Symphony. Outside the band hall he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, and binging his favorite films. Mr. Slaughter is excited to start his teaching career here in Weimar ISD!
Caitlin Dreitner
Caitlin Dreitner was born in Misawa, Japan before settling in San Antonio, TX.  She graduated from Sandra Day O'Connor High School.  She graduated from West Texas A&M University with a degree in Music Education with all level teaching certification.  She has performed all around the world including Finland, Estonia, and Russia.  She has been a featured soloist with the WTAMU Orchestra and the New Mexico University Chorus.  When she is not spending time on music, she enjoys running and playing with her dachshunds Frank and Violet, and her cat Maggie.
