About Me!

My name is Merina Horton and I am starting my 4th year teaching here at Weimar ISD! I am our girls head track coach and assistant volleyball coach also! I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. Over the course of my college career, I completed over 40 hours of advanced sciences and am looking forward to sharing my passion for science with my students! 

I am married to my wonderful husband, Jacob Horton! In my free time, I enjoy going fishing, hunting, and playing with our two dogs.
