Parents can review their students classroom progress, as well as, receive teacher updates, by visiting the Weimar ISD website and clicking on "Parent Resources" link and then finally "Gradebook Parent Portal."

Our responsibility in accomplishing this mission is to provide abundant and varied opportunities for the development of academic knowledge while promoting citizenship,teamwork, and leadership skills.
 
 

The following cell phone policy has been adopted by WISD administration to eliminate unnecessary distractions during the instructional day.  We understand that situations arise before and after school hours that may warrant cell phone use, but during school hours emergencies can be handled through the school office.  If a cell phone is seen it will be confiscated by staff.  If a student brings a cell phone to school it should be locked in a locker until the end of the day.

"Jazz Garza Named Finalist for Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year"
           
Jazz Garza representing Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley competed in the East Texas Area Council Youth of the Year contest on Saturday, February 22nd in College Station.  Nine Youth of the Year candidates from Boys & Girls Clubs in the East Texas region were recognized for their work in their communities, Club and school.  Each contestant had an opportunity to impress a panel of judges and advance to the state finals.  In the end, Jazz Garza from Weimar and DeAngelo Jackson from Pasadena advanced to the State Youth of the Year final to be held in Austin on April 14 - 15.
