Congratulations to the Students and Educators from
Weimar Junior High School

Weimar Junior High recently received an award form the Texas Education Agency for being recognized as a high progress reward school identified as as a Title I School in the top 25% in annual improvement and/or being a school in the top 25% of those demonstrating ability to close performance gaps based on system safeguards. Weimar Junior High was the only campus in Region 3, which is comprised of 39 school districts and more than 129 campuses, to receive this prestigious award.
Remind (formerly Remind101) offers teachers a free, safe and easy-to-use way to instantly text students and parents. Teachers can send or schedule reminders, assignments, homework, assessments, or motivational messages directly to students' and parents' phones. Interactions are safe because phone numbers are always kept private and messages are one-way only. Teachers, students and parents can see messages from all classes in one place.

For students and parents, Remind provides an easier way to stay informed outside of the classroom.

"We Can" Food Drive
"We Can" Food Drive is a non-profit, charitable organization that distributes food to those who have difficulty purchasing enough food to avoid hunger. "We Can" fosters a sense of teamwork by creating an opportunity to work together toward a common, worthy goal. Each year, Weimar FFA helps collect can goods for the food bank. Drop-off locations will be at all campus.  Please take advantage of this opportunity to help others.
